Privacy Policy

This is a plain-language policy written to be easy to read. It is not legal advice.

Who we are

K9ine Connect is an app used by dog-training studios and their clients. It is made by Balanced K9ines (Johnny Hammond) in Snohomish County, Washington. Each studio sees only its own clients.

Information we collect

• Owner and client details: name, email and phone number. Clients may also add a home address.
• Dog information: name, breed, age, behavior notes, feeding, medications and photos.
• Vet records: vaccine records and vet details you or the studio upload.
• Messages: messages between you and the studio, including photos or video you choose to send.
• Booking records: requests, approvals, check-ins and report cards.
• Payment records: what was charged, when, and receipts. If you pay by card, we may keep the card brand and last four digits.

Card data stays with Stripe. Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card number is never stored by us.

The app only uses location, camera, photos, microphone and notifications when you allow it and are using that feature. We do not track your location in the background.

How we use it

We use your information to run the service: to schedule and run training, Day Camp, classes and boarding, to send report cards and messages, to manage agreements and waivers, to take payment, and to send reminders you turn on.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for advertising, and we do not use it for cross-app tracking.

Third parties

• Stripe processes card payments. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
• Our hosting and database provider stores app data on our behalf so the app works.

These providers only get what they need to provide their service. We may also share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your login, dog profiles, messages, photos, videos, vet files and visit notes. Basic payment amounts may stay in the studio’s books, without your name or card digits, where tax law requires it.

Delete your account or download your data

You can delete your account inside the app under My Account → Delete account. Deleting is not the same as signing out. You can also ask for a copy of your data in the app or by contacting us.

Your choices

You can turn reminders off, and you can deny camera, photo, microphone, location and notification access. Booking and check-in still work.

Children

K9ine Connect is for adult clients and staff of a studio. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date on this page.
